What is vinyl decking?

PVC decking is composed entirely of polyvinyl chloride and contains no wood. PVC decking is a man made option in the decking industry, but it provides significant fade and stain resistance and lower maintenance requirements compared to other products

 Our Vinyl uses high amounts of pigment and UV stabilizers to ensure its colour stability. That's 20% more than the industry standard. What's more it won't rot, chip or splinter

How is vinyl decking different to composite decking?

Composite decking generally is made up of a mixture of wood and plastic at varying percentages. Our vinyl (uPVC) is non-toxic and 100% recyclable. Our vinyl products eliminate the dangerous chemicals used to preserve, treat and clean wood fence and decks. At the same time this man-made product uses these industry by-products instead of endangered forests.

Is vinyl decking durable? How much maintenance is needed?

Our Vinyl decking is very durable and hard waring. The only maintenance required is an occasional clean with a stiff brush and mild soapy water.

Is vinyl decking slip resistant?

The non slip properties are classed as low (1 in 1,000,000) for a shod (wearing footwear) or barefoot person in wet and dry conditions, and the tests were performed in accordance with BS 7976-2:2002+A1:2013 (Pendulum testers-method of operation) & UKSRG Guidelines-4:2011 (the assessment of floor slip resistance)
